3DGence makes 3D printers for industrial applications. They address a need within the engineering and design industries for 3D printers that can print materials across a very wide temperature range (190°C to 500°C).

The neat thing about 3DGence printers is you only need one printer to do it. They have a unique modular system with interchangeable print modules, so you can go from printing at 190°C to 500°C real fast by swapping out a module.

 

Interchangeable Print Modules

With 3DGence, you don’t need to use multiple 3D printers anymore. If you want to print different materials, just swap out a module!

No need to purchase Modules at the same time as the printer, so if you decide in the future to start printing with PEEK you can just buy the next Module.

MODULES

Modules are self-contained units with dual hot ends, internal memory and an inactive nozzle lifting system. 3DGence printers automatically recognise what module is installed and then present settings for different materials in software.

Each module is customised to a specific group of materials and all INDUSTRY series 3DGence printers have a modular print system.

There are three 3DGence 3D printers with a modular print system:

INDUSTRY F340 Modules

The INDUSTRY F340 uses different interchangeable print modules to the INDUSTRY F420 and F350, which share the same module range.

Modules supported by the F340 are the PRO, HF, HT and HTmax.

PRO Module

PRO

This is the F340’s standard module for ABS, PLA, PP, TPU and other ‘standard materials’.

  • Supported by: INDUSTRY F340
  • Print temperature: Up to 265°C
  • Model materials: ABS, PLA, PP, ASA, PA, TPU
  • Support materials: BVOH (water-soluble), HIPS (breakaway), ESM-10 (soluble)

HF Module

Module HF

This is the F340’s high-flow print module. It can reach higher print speeds than the PRO and is capable of printing composite materials like PA-CF.

  • Supported by: INDUSTRY F340
  • Print temperature: Up to 265°C
  • Model materials: ABS, ASA, PP, PA-CF
  • Support materials: BVOH HIPS (breakaway), ESM-10 (soluble)

HT Module

Module HT

This is the F340’s high-temp module. It prints high-temp materials like PC and PC-ESD for specialised engineering applications.

  • Supported by: INDUSTRY F340
  • Print temperature: Up to 340°C
  • Model materials: PC, PC-CF, PC-ABS, PC-ESD
  • Support materials: Dedicated breakaway (ABS)

HTmax Module

Module HTmax

This is the F340’s super-high-temp module. It reaches up to 500°C of extrusion temperature and supports PEEK and PEKK.

  • Supported by: INDUSTRY F340
  • Print temperature: Up to 500°C
  • Model materials: PEEK, PEKK
  • Support materials: Dedicated breakaway, ESM-10 (soluble)

Now, let’s take a look at the modules supported by the F420 and F350.

INDUSTRY F421 and F350 Modules

The 3DGence F421 and F350 3D printers use a different module series to the F340. All modules in this series start with ‘M’ such as M280.

Here’s a comparison of the different modules in this series:

M280 Module

M280

The M280 is the basic printing module for the F421 and F350. It prints all standard 3D printing filaments, such as ABS, ASA and PLA.

  • Supported by: INDUSTRY F421 and F350
  • Print temperature: Up to 280°C
  • Model materials: ABS, ASA, PLA, PA6
  • Support materials: HIPS (breakaway), ESM-10 (soluble)

M360 Module

M360

The M360 is a high-temperature module for the F420 and F350. It prints high-temp polymers like PC and PA-CF. However, only the F420 can print PC ULTEM with this module.

  • Supported by: INDUSTRY F421 and F350
  • Print temperature: Up to 360°C
  • Model materials: PC, PA-CF, PC ULTEM (F420 only)
  • Support materials: ESM-10 (soluble)

M500 Module

M500

The M500 is an ultra-high temperature module for the F420 and F350. It prints high-temp polymers like PEEK and PEKK. However, only the F420 can print PEKK with this module.

  • Supported by: INDUSTRY F421 and F350
  • Print temperature: Up to 500°C
  • Model materials: PEEK, PEKK (F420 only)
  • Support materials: ESM-10 (soluble)
