Formlabs Form Cure (2nd Generation) 230V
Form Cure automatically post-cures resin 3D printed parts, enhancing their strength and performance. After printing and washing, simply place your parts into the Form Cure, close the door, and select your resin. The system applies the optimal temperature and time settings for precise, consistent results.
The 2nd Generation Form Cure offers significantly faster cure cycles, with many now completing in as little as one minute. Advanced users can customise cure settings for complex parts and save their preferences for future use.
For biocompatible materials, post-curing is essential to meet safety standards set by regulatory agencies. Always follow the specific curing requirements for each material to ensure compliance.
The Form Cure (2nd Generation) 230V heats up to 60℃ in <90 seconds, 80℃ in <180 seconds, and 100℃ in <270 seconds.

What are the differences between Fast Cure and Form Cure (2nd Generation)?
The speed between Fast Cure and Form Cure (2nd Generation) are comparable but the workflow has been redefined. With the Form Cure there is no longer the need to flip parts and will not burn your fingers when removing parts from the chamber.

How is this able to cure things faster?
The Form Cure (1st Generation) contains 13 multi-directional LEDs with an LED power of 39W and LED radiant power of 9.1W. On the Form Cure (2nd Generation), the unit contains 48
mulit-directional LEDs with LED power of 150W and LED radiant power of 50W. The increased optical power means that roughly 5 times more 405 nm photons are hitting the part causing final polymerization to take place more rapidly.

Is the Form Cure (2nd Generation) compatible with older Form Wash units, printers, and resins?
Yes, the Form Cure (2nd Generation) is fully compatible with both the 1st and 2nd Generation Form Wash. It also works with previous Form printer models, including the Form 1, 2, and 3. Additionally, it supports resins that have been sunsetted or are only available for older Form 3 and previous generations.
