Introducing the new Bambu Lab X2D

Introducing the X2D Combo 3D Printer, 2nd generation in the X series from Bambu Lab complete with an AMS 2 Pro multi material feeding system. Built on 4 years of innovation, the X2D is a 3D printer designed for people who want excellence without trial and error.

Featuring a dual-extrusion system made up of a main nozzle to print the part, an auxiliary nozzle to print the support material and instant nozzle switching. The X2D is designed to improve and optimise your multi-colour and multi-material 3D printing.

Automatic calibration before every print

The X2D Combo calibrates itself before each job and monitors the process through 31 sensors, compensating in real time for any deviation. If something goes wrong, the printer stops before wasting material. You select a model, press print, and come back to a finished object.

Dual-nozzle printing with multi-material feeding

Two nozzles combined with the included multi-material feeding system let you print in multiple colours or materials in a single job. Supports come away without sanding or scraping, and parts for business, items for the home, jewellery, fashion accessories, and toys come out genuinely ready to use.

Enclosed, temperature-controlled chamber

The print chamber holds up to 65°C and stays sealed throughout the job. A triple-stage air filtration system (G3 pre-filter, HEPA H12, and activated coconut carbon) captures particles and absorbs odours. Noise sits below 50 dB, so the X2D Combo can comfortably live in a living room, studio, or office.

  • less filament changes saves print time
  • signficantly less material wastage
  • cleaner support removal
  • less part "finishing" post-print

Typical support strategies are enabled, such as:

  • PLA on the main nozzle with PETG or PVA support on the auxiliary nozzle
  • PETG on the main nozzle with PLA on the auxiliary
  • TPU on the main nozzle with PLA on the auxiliary

The actively heated chamber (up to 65C) and nozzle temperature (up to 300c) also allow for printing in engineering materials such as PA6-CF and PET-CF which can be supported with ABS or ASA. This is a printer which monitors itself to improve its own performance. A total of 31 sensors monitor filament path, thermal environment and safety. Bambu Lab's Dynamic Flow Calibration assesses the condition of the filament (is it slighly damp?), the extrusion motor, hotend and nozzle (is there any residue, or signs of wear?) and the system compensates in real time to achieve consistent, high quality 3D printing.

Delivery and Returns

DELIVERY BY ADDITIVE-X

BOXES SHIP VIA DPD

Order by 4.30pm Monday to Friday (excl Bank Holidays) and Additive-X will ship your order via DPD the same day. DPD will deliver on working days only.

Depending on your postcode your options at checkout will include DPD NEXT DAY, DPD 12:00 and DPD 10:30 options. Some postcodes will show "DPD TWO DAY".

Shipping to Ireland (Northern or Republic of) is a “DAP” service which means you have to pay any Duty and Taxes. Business customers must email us their EORI and UKIMS numbers.

PALLETS DON'T SHIP VIA DPD - WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Some units can only be shipped safely on a pallet due to weight and/or size.  Cut off time for orders shipping by pallet is 1.30pm, that’s because we need to book the job before 2pm.

Pallets are big and they ship on big lorries!  If there is any problem with a dustbin-lorry size vehicle accessing your property, you need to let us know and we can request delivery by a smaller 7.5T lorry.  If this is the case, then PALLET NEXT DAY may not be available.

Depending on your postcode your options at checkout will include PALLET NEXT DAY, PALLET 2-3 DAYS, PALLET COLLECTION HG4 2RN (organise your own pick-up).  Some postcodes will show “PALLET 5-6 DAYS” etc.
Pallet deliveries are between 09.00 and 17.00 and we are unable to give you the ETA in advance.

We use a very reliable local supplier, and the pallets go in to the “Palletforce” network.  Currently the network don’t use tracking numbers and you can't track online (coming in 2026).  Call or email us to check on a delivery or collection.
