UltiMaker S5 Air Manager
The UltiMaker S5 Air Manager is an enclosed inside-out air chamber that sits atop of your UltiMaker S5. It is designed to improve printer performance and filter emissions to provide a safer work environment.
The Air Manager has an in-built particulate filter that catches up to 95% of ultrafine particles. In 3D printing, ultrafine particles are a subject of constant debate because they represent a health risk. This is why it is always recommended 3D printers are used near an open window, even if they have a filter.
With the Air Manager, the volume of ultrafine particles the S5 emits are greatly and noticeably reduced. We therefore recommend this accessory if you print in environments with limited space and/ or limited ventilation.
In addition to improved safety, the S5 Air Manager also improves printer performance by better controlling the environment inside the build chamber.
The air chamber encloses the top of the printer to provide a more stable air flow source to the build chamber. Effectively, what this means is the air flow chamber sucks air in for the printer, rather than the printer sucking air in by itself. The result is better performance and greater safety. You really can't argue with that.

Some units must ship on a pallet due to weight and/or size, in which case delivery service is 1-2 days and the cut-off time is earlier.
