Guide:
Powder Removal - Use the working area to remove the powder cake from the build chamber and separate the parts from the unsintered powder.

The Fuse Build Chamber Lower Handle serves as an optional accessory, enhancing both safety and convenience. This handle affords users a more secure grip on the Fuse Build Chamber, allowing users to hold and manipulate it securely, easing the process of tipping the build chamber into the Fuse Depowdering Kit. Installation is a breeze, as it can be effortlessly affixed to the lower section of the build chamber using a hex wrench.
After part extraction with the Fuse Depowdering Kit, the unsintered powder is funnelled into the sifter provided. The micro sieve effectively sieves out any chunks or debris, ensuring the powder remains clean while maintaining a smooth powder flow. This reclaimed powder can then be conveniently stored in a cartridge for future printing tasks. Please note the Depowdering Kit comes with a 150-micro sieve which is compatible for use with all Formlabs SLS powders except Nylon 11 CF Powder.

Will the Fuse Depowdering Kit be compatible with all Formlabs SLS Powders?
The Fuse Depowdering Kit can be used with any Formlabs SLS powder. For users who print with Nylon 11 CF Powder, it's important to note that the Fuse Depowdering Kit Sifter 300 Sieve is required to ensure the powder flows smoothly during the sifting process. This additional accessory can be purchased separately.
How much more labor-intensive is Fuse Depowdering Kit compared to the Fuse Sift?
The Fuse Depowdering Kit is more labor-intensive than the Fuse Sift. With the Fuse Depowdering Kit, the reclaiming process may take a little more time as it involves manually extracting the cake, as well as manually sifting, measuring, pouring, and mixing powder.
On the other hand, the Fuse Sift automates this process, making it more efficient and less labour-intensive, as well as eliminating the guesswork involved in reclaiming unused powder. Fuse Sift also provides a contained environment with negative air pressure to limit powder spread during the process.
Will I get the same results with the Fuse Depowdering Kit as with the Fuse Sift?
While the Fuse Sift automates the process of removing the powder cake, sifting, dosing, and mixing powder, both options yield similar professional quality parts. BOXES SHIP VIA DPD
Order by 4.45pm Monday to Friday (excl Bank Holidays) and Additive-X will ship your order via DPD the same day. DPD will deliver on working days only.
Depending on your postcode your options at checkout will include DPD NEXT DAY, DPD 12:00 and DPD 10:30 options. Some postcodes will show "DPD TWO DAY".
Shipping to Ireland (Northern or Republic of) is a “DAP” service which means you have to pay any Duty and Taxes. Business customers must email us their EORI and UKIMS numbers.
PALLETS DON'T SHIP VIA DPD - WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Some units can only be shipped safely on a pallet due to weight and/or size. Cut off time for orders shipping by pallet is 1.30pm, that’s because we need to book the job before 2pm.
Pallets are big and they ship on big lorries! If there is any problem with a dustbin-lorry size vehicle accessing your property, you need to let us know and we can request delivery by a smaller 7.5T lorry. If this is the case, then PALLET NEXT DAY may not be available.
Depending on your postcode your options at checkout will include PALLET NEXT DAY, PALLET 2-3 DAYS, PALLET COLLECTION HG4 2RN (organise your own pick-up). Some postcodes will show “PALLET 5-6 DAYS” etc.
Pallet deliveries are between 09.00 and 17.00 and we are unable to give you the ETA in advance.
We use a very reliable local supplier, and the pallets go in to the “Palletforce” network. Currently the network don’t use tracking numbers and you can't track online (coming in 2026). Call or email us to check on a delivery or collection.
