Form 3B+ Basic Package

The Form 3B+ is an advanced 3D printer for healthcare professionals and medical device engineers. The Form 3B+ is compatible with our entire SLA materials library, including biocompatible, sterilizable materials manufactured in our FDA-registered, ISO 13485 certified facility giving you everything you need to manufacture high-quality medical and dental models and orthodontics in-house. 

The Form 3B+ Basic Package is the most affordable route to high-quality medical and dental 3D printing, suitable for dentists and orthodontists and used in the healthcare sector all over the world. This hardware package includes the Form 3B+ printer, Form 3 Resin Tank, Form 3 Build Platform, a Finishing Kit (IPA not included), PreForm and a 1-year warranty. 

At time of purchase you have to choose a 1, 2 or 3 year Formlabs Dental or Medical Service Plan (DSP/ MSP). The addition of a DSP/ MSP is extremely useful. It includes personalised onboarding, training, proactive check-ins and priority phone and email support. This sets you up for success and is particularly valuable if you are new to Formlabs.

The Form 3B+

The Form 3B+ is designed for medical, dental professionals and labs. It is set up to make high-quality, patient-ready models in less than 24-hours. 

With it, you can print precision models like biocompatible surgical guides, splints, fixed patterns and dentures, as well as crowns, bridges, aligners and patterns for casting, pressing and prototyping. You are enabled to rapidly print patient-specific parts at the point of care and bring innovative R&D and commercial production in-house with the Form 3B+,  

It utilises an innovative print technology called Low Force Stereolithography, which significantly reduces the peel forces on models. It uses a flexible resin tank that bows gradually as the part is lowered. The Form 3B+ also uses a custom light engine, which moves the laser more smoothly and consistently across the build platform than the light engine in the Form 3. The result is great accuracy and precision so you can make patient-ready dental models.
