PPS-CF is a composite material made from carbon fibre-reinforced polyphenylene sulfide. This blend of PPS resin and carbon fibre provides outstanding resistance to solvents, corrosion, heat, and flames. It also offers exceptional strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability, making it ideal for specialised engineering applications that require high performance in challenging environments.
This filament offers a heat deflection temperature of up to 264°C under 0.45 MPa and can operate continuously at temperatures above 200°C. This far surpasses standard PA-CF materials, which have maximum temperatures of around 190°C and 120°C. Its exceptional heat resistance ensures excellent creep resistance, making PPS-CF perfect for demanding industrial environments and applications.

Combining the rigidity of PPS polymers with the reinforcing strength of carbon fiber, PPS-CF delivers outstanding stiffness, bending strength, and tensile strength. Its excellent dimensional stability and resistance to warping ensure that large prints remain precise and avoid deformation during the printing process, making it ideal for high-precision applications.
PPS-CF provides excellent solvent and chemical resistance, surpassed only by PTFE (Teflon). It remains virtually insoluble in solvents below 200°C and shows remarkable resistance to acids, bases, and salts under normal conditions. This makes PPS-CF the ideal choice for environments where chemical stability is crucial.
With a moisture absorption rate of just 0.05%, PPS-CF maintains stable mechanical and thermal properties even in humid conditions. Unlike standard PA-CF, which can soften and degrade when exposed to moisture, PPS-CF retains its strength and durability, making it the superior choice for applications requiring high moisture resistance.
This fillament requires drying before use. We recommend the Polydryer by Polymaker.

Printing Tips
Bambu PPS-CF Printing Guidelines:
- Nozzle Temperature: Recommended range is 310 to 340°C.
- Chamber Temperature: Recommended range is 60 to 90°C.
- Tip: Using higher values within these ranges can enhance the mechanical properties of the printed parts, especially in the Z-direction.
Drying Recommendations:
- Drying Temperature:
In a blast drying oven: 100°C to 140°C for 8 to 12 hours.
On an X1 printer's heatbed: 110°C to 120°C for 10 to 12 hours (less effective than a blast drying oven).
Dry in the Polymaker Polydryer - Level 2 Setting for 18 hours
- Important Note: Higher temperatures within the drying range yield better results, but do not exceed 160°C to avoid damaging the spool.
Storage Tips:
- Storage Condition: To prevent the filament from absorbing moisture, use an airtight storage container with desiccant during printing.
Annealing Prints:
- If you need to anneal the prints, please refer to the Technical Data Sheet (TDS) in the 'Download' section.

BOXES SHIP VIA DPD
Order by 4.45pm Monday to Friday (excl Bank Holidays) and Additive-X will ship your order via DPD the same day. DPD will deliver on working days only.
Depending on your postcode your options at checkout will include DPD NEXT DAY, DPD 12:00 and DPD 10:30 options. Some postcodes will show "DPD TWO DAY".
Shipping to Ireland (Northern or Republic of) is a “DAP” service which means you have to pay any Duty and Taxes. Business customers must email us their EORI and UKIMS numbers.
PALLETS DON'T SHIP VIA DPD - WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Some units can only be shipped safely on a pallet due to weight and/or size. Cut off time for orders shipping by pallet is 1.30pm, that’s because we need to book the job before 2pm.
Pallets are big and they ship on big lorries! If there is any problem with a dustbin-lorry size vehicle accessing your property, you need to let us know and we can request delivery by a smaller 7.5T lorry. If this is the case, then PALLET NEXT DAY may not be available.
Depending on your postcode your options at checkout will include PALLET NEXT DAY, PALLET 2-3 DAYS, PALLET COLLECTION HG4 2RN (organise your own pick-up). Some postcodes will show “PALLET 5-6 DAYS” etc.
Pallet deliveries are between 09.00 and 17.00 and we are unable to give you the ETA in advance.
We use a very reliable local supplier, and the pallets go in to the “Palletforce” network. Currently the network don’t use tracking numbers and you can't track online (coming in 2026). Call or email us to check on a delivery or collection.
