Bambu Lab PLA Aero Filament - Grey

Bambu Lab PLA Aero gets its lightweight feel from foaming up at high temperatures during printing, which creates small air pockets inside the prints. This makes it just right for crafting lightweight and energy-saving prints, like drones, smooth aerodynamic models, and gliders.

Using foaming PLA materials (PLA Aero) involves some specific demands for material drying and parameter settings. Make sure to go through the Aircraft Model Printing Instructions for foaming PLA (PLA Aero) before you kick off the printing process.

Bambu Lab PLA Aero boasts a filament density that's quite similar to standard PLA, but the printed objects end up with a density of only 50% to 80%.

 When printing models of the same volume, PLA Aero is about half the weight of PLA Basic.

Bambu PLA Aero offers a matte surface texture that's easy to color, and it delivers better dyeing outcomes compared to PLA Basic.

Printing Tips

• PLA Aero filament is relatively soft, which may cause material loading or unloading issues during AMS printing.

• Drying conditions: 55°C for 8 hours. PLA Aero is highly sensitive to humidity, so it's recommended to dry the filament before use and after storage for optimal printing performance.
