ASA represents a modified variant of ABS, enriched with an added acrylate component, which significantly enhances its ability to adapt to varying weather conditions and boosts its resistance to harmful UV rays.

In terms of performance, ASA retains the favourable impact resistance and processability of ABS while demonstrating superior resistance against fading, yellowing, and degradation resulting from prolonged exposure to sunlight. It is worth noting that both materials may emit a strong odour during the printing process, but ASA's pungent scent is noticeably milder when compared to ABS.
