Essentium Materials
Founded in 2013, Essentium, Inc. makes 3D printing materials for high-performance applications. Their materials cover every conceivable use case and can be printed by most FDM 3D printers with an open filament system.
The Essentium filament range is split into General Purpose, Z (ESD safe), Flame Retardant, Low Friction and High-Temp Collections. From PLA to PEEK, these materials are developed with rapid prototyping and functional use in mind.
General Purpose
Essentium General Purpose filaments include PCTG, PLA XTR, PA (Nylon), PA-CF and TPU 74D. They are affordable and suitable for a wide variety of uses.
Z Collection
The Essentium Z Collection includes Z-PCTG, Z-TPU 95A, Z-TPU 80A, Z-TPU 74D and Z -HTN. These filaments are ESD-safe for electrical applications.
Flame Retardant
Essentium’s Flame Retardant Collection includes TPU 9A Flame Retardant. It is certified for flame retardancy to V-0 flame retardancy standards.
Low Friction
Essentium Low Friction filaments include TPUA 95A Low Friction and TPU 80A Low Friction. These materials are designed for easier 3D printing.
High-Temp
Essentium’s High-Temp Collection includes PEEK, HTN, HTN-CF25 and Z HTN. These materials are designed to deliver high heat and fatigue resistance.
