The Builder Extreme 2000 PRO is a large-format 3D printer designed specifically for professionals. The key difference between the PRO and standard Extreme is the PRO has a refined design, a touchscreen interface and a refined dual-feed extruder system to ensure there is no loss in print quality when printing big.

The design is a big upgrade. This printer fits into any workspace efficiently, taking up no more space than a cabinet. The filament spools and control box are all integrated into the housing, which opens when slightly pushing the panels.

With its 700 x 700 x 1700 mm (XYZ) build volume, the Extreme 2000 PRO is one of the biggest 3D printers we sell. It delivers a truly exemplary user experience, with everything from the viewing window hinges to the extruder mechanism operating faultlessly. Make no mistake, this is a slick, precise 3D printer for serious workshops.

No loss in print quality

A common issue with large-format 3D printers is a loss in print quality as models are scaled up. Not so with the Builder Extreme 2000 PRO. It has a direct drive dual-feed extruder system with balanced mechatronics. Another benefit to this setup is you can load up two filaments of a different colour and print in two colours. That dual-feed setup is also a speed booster so models take less time to print.

Additionally, there is filament runout detection and an integrated UPS system which can resume the print process after power outage.

The 7-inch touchscreen is a first for the Builder series. It is set at just below eye level and lets you control the print process in its entirety. From here, you can control the nozzle and bed temperature, camera, lights and much more.

If you work in an enclosed environment, you can add a BOFA air filter and there’s a safety locking system in place, so the doors can only be opened after the print is paused. This ensures prints cannot be sabotaged. Rather neatly, the doors also open automatically if you press the door logo on the screen. Open Sesame!
