SuperTack coating delivers excellent adhesion for PLA and PETG filaments, even at lower heatbed temperatures. It helps prevent adhesion issues, minimises warping when printing larger objects, and performs reliably on uneven surfaces.
The SuperTack coating is highly durable, maintaining its adhesive properties even after extended use. With less than 20% adhesion loss after 300 prints, it extends the lifespan of the printing plate, helping to reduce printing costs and lower carbon emissions.
The SuperTack coating creates a smooth, matte finish on the bottom surface of printed objects, allowing it to blend seamlessly with other surfaces.
The SuperTack coating ensures strong adhesion at very low heatbed temperatures, allowing you to save energy, reduce power bills, and contribute to a more sustainable future.
Considerations for Using the Bambu Cool Plate SuperTack
- Soft Surface: Take care when using a scraper to remove printed parts to avoid damaging the surface.
- TPU Filament: Avoid printing with TPU filament, as it can damage the build plate.
- Adhesion Adjustment: Increasing the heatbed temperature improves adhesion. Adjust the heatbed temperature to suit your specific printing requirements for optimal results.
- Nozzle Maintenance: Before auto-levelling, thoroughly clean the nozzle in the designated wiping area of the build plate to remove residual material. Over time, the coating in this area will wear down; this is normal and does not impact print quality or nozzle lifespan.
- Consumable Nature: The Bambu Cool Plate SuperTack is a consumable item that will degrade over time. The warranty covers manufacturing defects but does not include cosmetic damage like scratches, dents, or cracks. Only defective sheets upon arrival are covered.
Installation Steps for X1 Series/P1 Series/A1
Step 1: Align the plate with the fixed points of the platform with the name of the plate facing you
Step 2: Lower the plate and secure to the magnetic platform

Order by 4.45pm Monday to Friday (excl Bank Holidays) and Additive-X will ship your order via DPD the same day. DPD will deliver on working days only.
Depending on your postcode your options at checkout will include DPD NEXT DAY, DPD 12:00 and DPD 10:30 options. Some postcodes will show "DPD TWO DAY".
Shipping to Ireland (Northern or Republic of) is a “DAP” service which means you have to pay any Duty and Taxes. Business customers must email us their EORI and UKIMS numbers.
PALLETS DON'T SHIP VIA DPD - WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Some units can only be shipped safely on a pallet due to weight and/or size. Cut off time for orders shipping by pallet is 1.30pm, that’s because we need to book the job before 2pm.
Pallets are big and they ship on big lorries! If there is any problem with a dustbin-lorry size vehicle accessing your property, you need to let us know and we can request delivery by a smaller 7.5T lorry. If this is the case, then PALLET NEXT DAY may not be available.
Depending on your postcode your options at checkout will include PALLET NEXT DAY, PALLET 2-3 DAYS, PALLET COLLECTION HG4 2RN (organise your own pick-up). Some postcodes will show “PALLET 5-6 DAYS” etc.
Pallet deliveries are between 09.00 and 17.00 and we are unable to give you the ETA in advance.
We use a very reliable local supplier, and the pallets go in to the “Palletforce” network. Currently the network don’t use tracking numbers and you can't track online (coming in 2026). Call or email us to check on a delivery or collection.
