3D Printing is a great cross curriculum tool incorporating Graphic Design, ICT, Science and Technology all into one. Materials at this level are safe to handle, fumes are limited and non-toxic and the only real hazards for pupils to be aware of are the hot nozzles in the printers and the sharp edges of some tools required.
With 3D printing becoming more widespread throughout many different industries, and the technology still developing, this is a skill that could really encourage success in the future.
