Additive-X PVA Filament

Additive-X PVA (Poly Vinyl Alcohol) is a water-soluble filament that prints easily and bonds well to plastic. It is non-toxic and once dissolved in water, the solution is biodegradable. This makes it a more environmentally friendly option than other support materials.

The water solubility of PVA makes it an excellent supporting material for dual extruder printers. Using PVA allows for creating parts with complex geometries that would otherwise be impossible to achieve if the supports had to be removed manually.  PVA can be printed on a wide range of FDM or FFF printers with an open filament system and is recommended to be printed on a heated bed at 35-60°C. Extruder temperature must be kept below 225°C to avoid crystallisation.

This is our own brand PVA filament. It is manufactured in Europe to the highest standard of quality and is available in a natural transparent colour on a 750g reel. Other colours and sizes may be available upon request, please contact us.
