The Essentium HSE 180-S LT 3D printer is designed to print at speed low-temperature filaments in the most demanding production environments. Its build size and performance make it perfect for the manufacturing line.
Boasting a massive 740 x 510 x 650 mm build volume and wide-range support for high-performance low-temp thermoplastics, the HSE 180-S LT is capable of small production runs and larger production runs in one sitting. Once a print job has been approved, the HSE 180-S LT fully automates the build process for you.
Print fast at scale
Essentium’s High Speed Extrusion (HSE) print technology enables you to reliably print at speeds greater than 500 m/s while maintaining exceptional print quality. This is thanks to a non-slip, high torque extrusion system and linear servo motors designed to smoothly move across more than one axis (in this case, the X and Y).
At those speeds, the Essentium HSE 180-S LT is class-leading and you can print with a 0.4, 0.8 or 1.2mm nozzle to suit your requirements.
No compromise materials
Despite being a low-temp 3D printer by name, the HSE 180-S LT’s nozzle still reaches a temperature up to 380 C and a bed temperature up to 120 C. This enables you to print a wider range of materials than standard, including PLA XTR, TPU - 74D, TPU - 74D ESD, TPU - 90A FR, PCTG, PCTG ESD and PA – CF.
These materials are engineered to melt and extrude faultlessly to create models and parts of an exceptional quality. They are suitable for a wide range of applications, from prototyping and manufacturing end-use parts for biomedical devices to creating low-temp jigs, fixtures, casings, castings and sockets.
